Puerto Rico’s first case of H1N1 flu

A man tested positive for H1N1. He had been on a cruise on May 17 and on May 18 he was admitted to Doctor Pilar Hospital in Ponce, Puerto Rico on the southern coast of the island. The construction worker was isolated in the hospital. He had been instructed to stay home and consume plenty of water and rest but he disobeyed medical instruction and went to work.
He and his family had been on a cruise in the Caribbean after which on their return he experienced the symptoms.
