Chavez’s Plans Worry Catholic Leaders

CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) – Roman Catholic leaders said Saturday they are worried about President Hugo Chavez’s plans to rewrite the constitution, and said he has no right to insult priests who publicly disagree with him.

Socialist projects flush with $$

President Hugo Chávez is investing in domestic infrastructure to further his vision for Venezuela’s future, but economists are worried about the long-term viability of the projects.
